August 2010

We have purchased Kanimbla Caramel Crystal a beautiful golden palomino broodmare and Toy Image Finesse a cute as a button Black broodmare from Sharyn at Toy Image Stud in Bookar.  These ponies will be arriving at the end of August, we thank Sharyn for looking after them until we collect them.

June 2010

Little Possum is an unregistered Miniature Horse with good MHAA bloodlines, she was sold unregistered without papers some time back.  Possum is currently in foal to Stringybark Tic Toc

May 2010

Will see the arrival of Cleoranee Nancy.  Nancy is a true shetland type.  She is a bit taller and slightly chunkier than we would normally go for, but she is a true non fading black, she was born a blue black.  She has a very pretty head and we think she will do well in the 9.2hh and under show classes. We hope to breed some smaller/finer true black miniatures from her in the future.

April 2010

Has seen the arrival of our horse float.  Finally we might be able to get out into the show ring.

March 2010

Saw the arrival of Maranooka Little Amarula.  Although we were still on our search for finding a true black pony we couldn't pass up on 'Atti', she is from the Happy Appy and Buckeroo Miniature Horse bloodlines.  She has a beautiful run and is quite fine and leggy for a 7 year old.

February 2010

On many occasions when driving to my friends block of land in scarsdale I would drive by a beautiful small buckskin stallion, unfortantely their was no house at the property.  So after asking around we finally managed to find the owner.  Cardinia Billy is registered MHAA and is 78cm.  We are looking at having him registered AMPs in the near future.  He is an extremely quiet stallion and is a stunning Golden Buckskin.  We look forward to using Billy later on in 2010.

January 2010

St Helena Viviann was a rescued mare from the Healesville/Marysville Fires.  She had been adopted, but was now looking for a new family.  With no paperwork, we managed to seach her brands and find out who she was.  We were then able to contact the previous, previous owner and get her re-registered.  She is a extremely well bred shetland mare and stands at a tall 9.1hh being tall (tall for our miniature stud), fine and leggy.  She is a rich chestnut with a taffy mane.

December 2009

After visiting Gina Scuffins (One of the many times) we came across Jiminy Day Dream a super fine Silver Dapple Taffy yearling filly that was for sale.  She was soon to join our growing herd.

November 2009

We have finally purchased our stud stallion after many months of looking.  Calais Justa Joker Black 82cm AMPs stallion has joined our small  herd.  Unfortanetly as we didn't think we were going to find a stallion, we had already sent of our broodmares.  This meant we needed to purchase a couple more, this saw the arrival of Musk Lavender Bonnie Girl and Selda.

October 2009

We have sent Tid Bit and Sundance of to Dreamvalley Stud in Haddon to be served by Sankur Zachary who is a beatifully proportioned 85cm Black Shetland bred stallion with APSB and AMPS Reg.

Mid 2009

As the ponies are located over two properties and I had finally finished the fencing, we decided to move Tid Bit and Sundance, which left Tulip all alone and lonely.  We then went on the search to find her a mate.  Along came Kahean Simone and Dun filly who is APSB registered and will go over miniature height, but is beautifully leggy and fine.

Nov 2008

Saw the beginning of our stud, with the purchases of Sundance, Tid Bit and Tulip.  These ponies were originally purchased as pets for the children and to keep the grass down after selling the bigger horses due to children and pregnancies.   These ponies started off the pony fever bug and since then we have grown rapidly in numbers.

Tid Bit or Tilly as we call her is paddock broodmare, but always seems to produce the goods.  She has some good old fashioned shetland blood, but has the height and bone structure of a miniature pony. Sunny and Tulip are just sweethearts and we are eagerly awaiting to see how they fill out.

The stud name was originally chosen by my mother 16 odd years ago when I had my first shetland pony Dougdale Tammy, on ringing up the APSB I found out that it was all on their computer registered in my name and all we had to do was rejoin.
